Mostly well earned, at this point.

Resident Evil 6

Looks like Capcom’s recent remasters of Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 have been pretty big successes for the company. In a recent statement, Capcom confirmed that the three remasters had cumulatively shipped 1.5 million copies worldwide, across Xbox One and PS4- with 1 million of those sales coming in from North America alone.

“Capcom would like to thank all the fans that have celebrated the series’ 20th anniversary by playing these releases. We hope you all look forward to a new era of survival horror in the terrifyingly intense Resident Evil 7 biohazard when it hits on January 24, 2017 for PlayStation 4 (with the included optional PlayStation VR Mode), Xbox One and Windows PC (Steam and Windows 10 Store),” Capcom’s statement reads.

Resident Evil 4 is an incredible game, and one of the best ones ever made; Resident Evil 5 is an enjoyable action game, especially in co-op, and even Resident Evil 6 has things going for it. If you have not yet played these already, now would be an excellent time to jump in.
