Resident Evil 5

We’re on the eve of Resident Evil 5 and 6 being on a Nintendo system for the first time. The two action packed survival horror games offer some of the best couch co-op experience in gaming. You’ll not only be able to take them on the go with the Switch versions, but there will be more addition features.

In a post from the official Facebook page, it was confirmed that both games would get motion controls and gyro aiming. Unfortunately, it won’t be baked into the base game, so you will need a launch day patch, but still, the option will be there. Even if you’ve played the games multiple times, which most fans probably have, this will give a new twist to old favorites.

Resident Evil 5 and 6 will release October 29th for the Nintendo Switch digitally. Right now there is a demo available for both games. The two games will be released in a physical triple pack with Resident Evil 4 on the same day.
