Resident Evil 6 coming out on PC via Steam

Capcom has announced that Resident Evil 6 will be releasing for the PC via Steam next year- March 22nd, to be precise. The PC version will include all the DLC for the game that is currently available, along with the “No Hope” difficulty level.

Buying the game via Steam will grant you access to Cloud saving, Steam Achievements, friend support, game overlay and leaderboards, however, you can buy a physical copy at retail.

The minimum and recommended system requirements for Resident Evil 6 are given below.

Minimum:

  • OS: Windows Vista®/XP, Windows 7, Windows 8
  • Processor: Intel® CoreTM2 Duo 2.4 Ghz or better, AMD AthlonTM X2 2.8 Ghz or better
  • Memory: 2 GB RAM
  • Hard Disk Space: 16 GB free hard drive space
  • Video Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® 8800GTS or better
  • DirectX®: 9.0c or greater
  • Sound: Standard audio device

Recommended:

  • OS: Windows Vista®/XP, Windows 7, Windows 8
  • Processor: Intel® CoreTM 2 Quad 2.7 Ghz or better, AMD PhenomTM II X4 3 Ghz or better
  • Memory: 4 GB RAM
  • Hard Disk Space: 16 GB free hard drive space
  • Video Card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 560 or better
  • DirectX®: 9.0c or greater
  • Sound: Standard audio device
