Once, not so long ago, games used to come with thick paper manuals, little booklets that would give you some background on the game you had just bought, explaining its story, its world and characters, its gameplay, structure, controls, and mechanics.
Unfortunately, that no longer happens, and instead we are inundated by inane tutorials in most games we play. But the era of manuals is not forgotten- this is evidenced by the work of blogger WheresBarry, who has apparently done all that there is to do in Capcom’s enigmatic Resident Evil 7 demo, and has decided to share all his knowledge- by compiling it into an NES era style video game manual.
It’s pretty awesome, you can check it out below. It’s extensive stuff, and will probably end up telling you all that there is to know about the demo, until some new mystery comes to light about it. Resident Evil 7 is due out next January on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
