Resident Evil 7 Director Thinks Nintendo Switch Has Potential, Will Explore Later

Koshi Nakanishi added the console has "unique hardware".

Resident Evil 7 releases next week and while the gaming community is plenty excited about this new entry in the long running series, the game’s director appears to be at least curious about the potential of the Nintendo Switch. The games line-up and the price of the new console were revealed last week but the Switch was met with a mixed bag of first impressions.

Resident Evil 7 director Koshi Nakanishi is apparently one of those who believes the console has some “unique hardware” that could lead to a successful run. Nakanishi recently sat down with GameReactor and talked a bit about his first impressions of the Switch.

“As an industry member, I had the opportunity to try Nintendo Switch before the presentation. I think it’s  unique hardware and I’ll explore its possibilities. I’ve always been a fan of Nintendo,” the game director told the site. If the early reviews of his newest title are any indication, we should be excited about the possibility of him working on the Switch in the future.
