Resident Evil 7 Biohazard

Resident Evil 7: Biohzard, Capcom’s next big sequel in the series, will be written by Richard Pearsey, marking the first time in the series a Western writer has taken the reins.

On Twitter, Pearsey confirmed his involvement, stating, “This has been quite a trip. Very glad to have played a part.”

Headey has quite the extensive body of work for video game writing. He’s written Spec Ops: The Line, F.E.A.R., the recent 1979 Revolution (where he was writer and narrative designer) and so on. It should be interesting to see what kind of story he brings to the Resident Evil franchise which will be returning to the survival horror we know and love while also heading to VR on PlayStation VR.

What are your thoughts on Resident Evil 7: Biohazard marking the use of so many changes for the franchise? Let us know in the comments below. It releases in January 2017 for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
