Xbox One X continues to work its way into the back catalog of games with a new patch coming to Resident Evil VII: Biohazard courtesy of C Capcom. The return to form for the survival horror series blew up when it was introduced early last year and ever since the Xbox One X patch was listed as “coming soon” by Microsoft in December, fans have been patiently waiting.

Capcom has also shared a comparison trailer with the world, which shows off the differences the game shows when running the game on the Xbox One X and Xbox One S. They did not give a detailed breakdown of the specs, but the Microsoft listing lacks the 4K checkmark. While this suggests that we’re not hitting full 4K on this one, it’s clear from the video that things are better on X.

If this feels like the time for you to jump into Resident Evil VII now that the patch is live, the game is also discounted on the Xbox storefront for the next two weeks. Are you going to revisit the game? Let us know in the comments below.
