Resident Evil 7 Update 1.02 Adds New Trophies

Pretty crafty update.

Posted By | On 13th, Feb. 2017

Capcom has released a new update for Resident Evil 7, which among other things, adds support for tomorrow’s Banned Footage Vol. 2 DLC, which will set you back by $15 if you don’t already own the DLC (Season Pass owners get it for free).

Support for the DLC is added by behind the scenes code reworking, as well as new Trophies that have been added into the game specific to this DLC- there are eight such Trophies, to be specific. You can check them out in your game’s Trophy list after you apply the update.

That apart, the update also fixes some bugs and glitches (but doesn’t specify which ones). It is, on the whole a useful update (and not a really large one). If you are planning on playing the DLC, you might as well download the patch now to be ready for it tomorrow. Resident Evil 7 is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
