If you’re not nearly sick of HD remasters and remakes yet, then the next big remaster to look forward to is Resident Evil HD. Based on the GameCube remake of the classic that started it all, Resident Evil HD will take you back to the origins of the T-Virus as Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine and the S.T.A.R.S. team combat deadly foes.

This being a remaster means that plenty of attention is being paid to the visuals. In a new walkthrough video, producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi talks about using the power of the Xbox One and PS4 while still maintaining the spirit of the original. While the 1080p visuals and widescreen aspect ratio will be the main attractions, Capcom is also working to configure the control scheme for current gen platforms

Resident Evil HD will release in early 2015 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Another title, Resident Evil Revelations 2, is also set to release early next year. Stay tuned for more information.
