Resident Evil Remaster Jill

Capcom’s HD remaster of Resident Evil is out this month and erstwhile PS4 and Xbox One users can pre-load the game now. This will help avoid any long wait times in downloading when it finally goes live. The total install size of the game is 14.2 GB.

For those purchasing on the PS4 or PS3, you’ll have cross-buy support. This allows you to experience the game on both consoles while only having to buy it on one. This is only for the PS3 and PS4 however.

Resident Evil HD is actually a port of the GameCube remake from 2002 which completely reworks the graphics of the 1996 classic into something way more frightening. Capcom has provided another layer of polish to the proceedings by having a 1080p resolution, 16:9 aspect ratio, 5.1 Surround Sound support and new updated control schemes.

Releasing on January 20th, Resident Evil HD will be out on Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
