Resident Evil Revelations 2

After it was revealed that Resident Evil: Revelations 2’s Raid mode would launch with the first episode of the game but function offline until the last episode’s release in March, Capcom also revealed that players could purchase crystals as extra lives. Thankfully, it clarified that this would only be for Raid mode and that these crystals were purely optional.

As Kotaku reported, Capcom stated that there would be two types of crystals – blue and red. “Blue life crystals can be earned through playing daily missions and red life crystals can be bought.

“The two crystals act the same, but there’s an option to buy if players run out of blue (earned) crystals or don’t want to spend the time earning them. If players have both blue and red crystals, the game will prioritise the blue crystals over the red ones.”

Again, this is just a means to revive yourself if you go down during a Raid mode run. Thoughts on its implementation? Let us know in the comments.
