As part of its recently quarterly earnings briefing, Capcom revealed updated sales figures for a number of its titles, and as traditionally tends to be the case, several Resident Evil titles have continued to exhibit impressive legs with their sustained sales.

Resident Evil Village, for instance, now stands at 9.3 million units sold worldwide as of December 31, up from 8.7 million units sold as of September 30, which means it sold an additional 600,000 units during the October-December quarter.

Meanwhile, Resident Evil 7, which launched a little over seven years ago, continues to enjoy impressive prolonged sales, with its lifetime sales having hit 13 million units worldwide. That’s up from 12.7 million units sold as of September 30, with an additional 300,000 units sold between October and December.

Capcom has also provided updated sales figures for Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3’s remakes, which have sold 13.6 million units and 8.4 million units respectively, and for Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter Rise, which have sold 19.6 million units and 14.2 million units respectively.

Where more recent Capcom releases are concerned, last year’s Resident Evil 4 remake has sold 6.48 million units worldwide, while Street Fighter 6’s sales stand at over 3 million units.
