The recently announced Resident Evil Re:Verse isn’t technically an RE Village online component, considering the fact that it’s going to be a standalone game, but seeing as it will be included for free for everyone who purchases Village, it might as well be. Of course, Resident Evil doesn’t have the best track record with PvP multiplayer games (even the recent Resident Evil Resistance was mediocre at best, and it wasn’t at its best very often), and I’m sure most fans would have preferred another Mercenaries mode or a new Outbreak game. Either way, here’s hoping Re:Verse surprises us and turns out to be a better game than most people are expecting it to be.
