Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy certainly deserves all the praise it has received, which Asobo Studio has now neatly shown off in a new accolades trailer. Check it out below.
It’s a good glimpse of the game itself if you’ve been curious to see what it’s like, while also showcasing how it nailed a bold new direction for the franchise after a successful couple of outings with the first two titles’ stealth-oriented approach. We were particularly fond of the combat and the way it ties into the franchise’s larger narrative in our review.
But those are far from the only strengths it offers, as Sophia’s a reason to dive headfirst into the adventure all on her own. Though shining in past appearances, we now look forward to seeing where the journey takes her next. Hopefully, her next outing is one that proves to be less agonizing (while remaining on brand).
All in all, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is a worthy successor and a strong new champion for the franchise thanks to how well it all comes together. Our tips and tricks for the early game should be useful if you decide to pick up a copy on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, or PC.
