Ridiculously Expensive Video Game DLCs of All Time

Too expensive for my taste.

We understand that developers work hard to create a good game, and we understand even more when they want to break even and make tons of money off their product. But sometimes the developers make some really bad DLC in order to squeeze money from their fans and customers. Now I for one love DLC, but I just hate it when developers try to pass something which is just not worth the time or money to invest in.

Instead of receiving amazing DLC that should be enjoyable and would last them until their next video game purchase, we often get the short end of the stick, which is a lame, overpriced DLC. Now understand that price is one person’s a point of view and some of the DLC’s featured here may not cost an enormous amount, but the product and its respective that was offered did not justify the amount.

Dragon Age Origins: Darkspawn Chronicles

Now granted that Dragon Age Origins is probably one of the best games out there,  however the DLC that was released one after the other just let the bar slide down more and more. The Darkspawn Chronicles is one of those DLC’s that makes you wonder why the developers even bothered creating an additional DLC. Oh wait, I know! for the money. And this is one DLC that is just not worth getting. Never mind the fact that the DLC cost 400 MS Points and can be finished off in well under an hour.
