GSC Game World has been churning patches for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl since its launch in November to solid praise overall. While it’s yet to outline a roadmap for future content like the upcoming story expansions or multiplayer, what about New Game Plus?

It hasn’t outright denied the addition of this, but there’s no confirmation either. On the bright side, the next patch will move various attachments and upgrades from the end-game sequence to Prypiat stashes, as confirmed by the official Discord. This ensures that players won’t have to cross the “point of no return” to obtain them.

Of course, it doesn’t solve the issue of collecting them all over again in a new playthrough, especially for those who want to see the various endings. Regardless, stay tuned for updates on the New Game Plus front in the coming months.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl is available for Xbox Series X/S and PC. It’s reached six million players since launch. Check out our review here.
