According to the Tomb Raider Facebook page, Square Enix is teasing some news for Rise of the Tomb Raider on June 1st. What can we look forward to? Well, you’ll have to really wait till Monday.
Rise of the Tomb Raider, developed by Crystal Dynamics, is a sequel to the 2013 reboot of the series and is a grittier take on the Tomb Raider lore. Following the events on the island of Yamatai, Lara ventures to Siberia to find the city of Kitezh to solve the mysteries of immortality before Trinity – the organization that covered up the events of the first game – beats her to it.
Rise of the Tomb Raider was announced to be a timed exclusive for Xbox 360 and Xbox One, due for release in the Holiday season this year. You can certainly expect to see more of it at the E3 conferences for Microsoft and Square Enix so stay tuned for more information.
