Lara Croft returns...and rises.

After being rumoured prior to the expo, Crystal Dynamics’ Rise of the Tomb Raider made its debut at Microsoft’s E3 media briefing. Though no gameplay for the title was shown, we did get a look at Lara Croft’s and the overall tone of the game. Check it out above.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will apparently look at Lara overcoming some mental trauma inflicting here though she’s very much going around, shooting dudes in the head with arrows and raiding tombs as before. We’d say something about never learning but as Lara would say, “We become who we are”.

And no, we don’t feel like dissecting the semantics of that.

Rise of the Tomb Raider will be on the Xbox One but we fully expect to see it for the PS4 as well. Stay tuned for more information along with updates on reveals from Microsoft’s E3 media briefing. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
