After quite some time in early access, Risk of Rain 2 finally got its full 1.0 launch last week. The roguelike game managed to successfully make the jump from 2D to 3D, and gives you the ability to team up to tackle some of the runs you’ll be doing. The game has been anticipated to finally get a full release, and if you have any doubts, take a quick look at what kind of numbers it’s already pulling down.

As announced via the game’s official Twitter, the game has already surpasses 3 million players just on the Steam release alone. It’s not clear if players relate to full sales or not, but either way, that’s a very high number especially on just one platform. That’s a lot of people trying to escape the confines of a hostile alien planet.

Risk of Rain 2 is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. All versions are now out of early access with the full game available to play. You can check out what we thought of the anticipated roguelike with our review through here.
