If you want a spiritual successor to Road Rash, then you have to wait till July 2014 to get one. DarkSeas Games have opened a Kickstarter page for Road Redemption which will give you a aggressive bike game that you’ve always wanted since Road Rash.

The studio is experienced and contains staff from various publishers so there’s a chance of this game being really awesome.

They are asking for $16000 and so far only $5000 has been funded but there are still 29 days to go. With enough word of mouth and convincing pitches they could make that target comfortably.

“A stronger weapon is always an advantage, but even a weaker combatant can get the upper hand by forcing his opponent off the road, or into oncoming traffic,” the studio said. “Make no mistake, Road Redemption is geared toward experienced gamers.”

The Kickstarter page can be found here and all the tiers are mentioned there.
