Arcade sports racing title – or whatever you want to call it – Rocket League continues to hit new highs. According to developer Psyonix, the game has managed to pass 25 million players. This doesn’t necessarily reflect units sold but is a good indicator for the number of players who have played Rocket League at some point.
A bunch of other figures have been revealed to further attest to its popularity. Since launching in June 2015 till January 2017, Rocket League has seen more than 1 billion games played. Exactly 50 percent of these have been Competitive matches while 33 percent are Casual games.
Though only 11 percent of players have experienced the Alternative modes, Rumble still has 31 million recorded matches since arriving in September 2016.
