Rocket League

Psyonix’s patch 1.03 for Rocket League is now available and adds some new functionality to the racing/sports title.

The most important new addition comes in the form of punishments for players who quit during Ranked games. Doing so will now ban you from matchmaking for 15 minutes because AI doesn’t replace your friends and can cause much heart-ache when the teams are lopsided. Quick Chat has also been expanded and now has cross platform support for PC and PS4.

The usual crash scenarios have also been fixed and the scrolling ticker at the bottom of the main menu won’t indicate an offline status any more.

You can check out the full patch notes here for other features that patch 1.03 adds. Stay tuned to future updates though since Psyonix intends to add a new arena, Spectator mode, 3 vs. 3 Ranked playlist and much more. What are your thoughts on Rocket League so far? Let us know in the comments.
