Rocksteady Promises To Share Information on its Game “As Soon As Its Ready”

The Batman: Arkham developer shares a quick update on their new game.

A lot of people were hoping for, and even outright expecting, information regarding Rocksteady’s next game at E3 this year. After all, the studio, which shot to fame following its Batman: Arkham games, released its last game in 2015. It has been three years since, and while that may not be enough time to have a game ready for release necessarily, surely it is far enough along in development that they can afford to show it off at the world’s largest stage for games? Especially since they weren’t even working on the DLC for Arkham Knight either, right?

But nope, no Rocksteady game at E3 this year. Responding to fan disappointment and criticisms, Rocksteady’s head Sefton Hill posted a brief message on Twitter today, assuring fans that the studio was aware of the concerns, but that development on their next game is coming along nicely, and they will be able to share information on it very soon- as soon as it is ready, in fact.

“Hi all! I wanted to share a quick message from me and the Rocksteady team…

“We know some of you were disappointed that we were not at E3 this year. The whole team has been reading your comments and all of us here at Rocksteady really appreciate your passion for our next project.

“Knowing how much it means to you keeps us inspired and energized to deliver a game that you will be proud of. We’ll share it with you as soon as it’s ready.”

As for what this new game could be? Who knows, really. Me, personally, I’ll be hoping for a Justice League game. I think that would be a good follow up to their Batman series, don’t you?
