That was Ruiner developed by Reikon Games, and it’s now officially available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC at just £14.99/$19.99. You can download it via Xbox Live, PlayStation Network, Steam, GOG and the Humble Store.
Set in 2091 within the cybercity Rengkok, Ruiner focuses on a particularly murderous individual (aka the player) who wants to take revenge against the system and rescue his brother.
A mysterious hacker will be helping you along the way as you take advantage of various tools, crazy reflexes and whatever weapons you can find to kill your enemies. There’s a theme here about the evil corporation in question using virtual reality to bring real sensations to its viewers that will likely unfold in some dastardly twist.
