RUMOUR: Duke Nukem Forever Coming Soon, Courtsey of Gearbox

Posted By | On 11th, Aug. 2010

Duke Nukem Forever, once the most anticpated title in all of gamingdom, has degenerated in to a sort of sad joke, thanks in no small part to its release date, which was repeatedly pushed back over the course of twelve years, before the shutters fell on the game and its development house early last year.

Now however, it seems like developers Gearbox, most famous for the Brothers in Arms games, as well as the shooter/RPG hybrid Borderlands, may be working to make the title a reality. Whereas Gearbox has often been linked with several Duke Nukem related projects, this is the first time they have ever been associated with the beleagured game that took forever for its development.

So far, we have no official comment from anybody involved, so I’d advise you all to take this with a pinch of salt.
