Project Beast

It’s hard to take rumours like this with a grain of salt, especially when they seem so true. Case in point, there were rumours going around that Sony and From Software were working on a PS4-exclusive title in the vein of Dark Souls. It would be a brand new game however. A leaker on 4chan posted alleged images for the same, called Project Beast, which are claimed to be from a trailer that was shown.

He also offered some interesting details along with the screens. There was a character who placed a magic sword into a statue’s pedestal; fireball magic created by pyromancy; shotguns; a “mindflayer” type of enemy; combat between the character and enemies; and a text that read “This is a Nightmare”.

Project Beast is tipped to appear at E3 2014 though it wouldn’t be playable. Regardless, be as sceptical as possible about the same and stay tuned for E3 2014 and more details.
