Rumour: New Vita game to be announced in May called Soul Sacrifice

Posted By | On 18th, Apr. 2012

It seems like Monster Hunter may be never headed to the Vita so Sony is developing its own version called Soul Sacrifice. This is according to a Sinobi retailer who tweeted this news.

It will be announced at the International Forum Venue in Tokyo on May 10. If true this is great news as Sony needs to build its own first-party system seller on the lines of Monster Hunter.

The game contains a lot of themes like  “story about magicians”, “the concept of evolved co-op battles”, and “high spec graphics for creating a realistic fantasy world”.

The upcoming Famitsu has a six page ad on the game and shows four people fighting a monster.

Has the Monster Hunter franchise gone to the 3DS, if so, Capcom has done an incredibly silly move in my opinion and considering this latest news, it seems like Sony is panicking and creating its own version.

There’s a website for the game too which is inactive for now.
