GSC Game World has released a new trailer for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, available on Xbox Series X/S and PC, outlining the positive reviews from critics. Check it out below or read our review – we gave it a nine out of ten, praising the visuals, world design, and tense atmosphere.
In its first two days, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 sold one million copies, with many other players joining via Game Pass. However, the survival sandbox shooter has attracted criticism over its many bugs, not to mention malfunctioning features like A-Life 2.0. Several patches have been released since launch, fixing numerous progression blockers and optimizing performance, though GSC Game World said it would address A-Life 2.0 issues throughout future updates.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl also has two paid story expansions alongside new features like multiplayer coming later. The developer has yet to offer an updated post-launch roadmap, so stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
