Sumo Digital’s Sackboy: A Big Adventure had a fairly positive launch last year for PS4 and PS5. But the fun isn’t over just yet – Sony has announced the Knit-Speedrun Challenges. Starting May, players can partake in five new obstacle courses each month until January 2022. Check out the trailer below to see them in action.

The goal is to race through each course as fast as possible. Depending on your fastest time, you can earn a spot in the online leaderboards and win some new costume pieces. Bronze tier means collectibles for all participants; Silver tier provides a costume piece for the top 50 percent; and Gold tier is a costume piece for the top 30 percent.

At Platinum, the top 15 percent earn a costume piece while Diamond provides a costume piece for the “elite” 5 percent. Along with prizes from the current tier, higher ranked players can earn rewards from any lower tiers. The speed-run challenges can be accessed via the PS5 Game Hub’s Activity Cards under “Challenges” or in-game via the Knitted Knight Trials.
