As reported by insider Tom Henderson, the Saints Row character creator is going live ahead of the game’s launch. Dubbed “Boss Factory“, it’s available to download now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC, and allows for customizing one’s own version of The Boss. The full game’s tools are all here – check out the trailer below to see them in action.

Upon creating one’s character, players can import them into the game at launch. There’s also a share code to allow others to download your character. The official website also features a “Hall of Fame” and “Creator’s Corner” to highlight some of the more popular designs. You can also view Bosses created by the development team.

Creating a profile is necessary but you’ll receive a free weapon (the Marshall Defense Technologies Rocket Launcher). Saints Row releases on August 23rd for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, and PC. For more details on customization, whether it’s vehicles, weapons, your HQ or The Boss, head here.
