Volition Inc. has released a new trailer for the Deep Silver-published Saints Row IV, which sees the Saints ascend the Presidency and, well, get trapped in a virtual reality wherein they must defeat evil aliens and save the world.

The “War for Humanity” trailer goes for the “epic blockbuster movie” feel and features, among other things, robots, emotional dialogues directed at said robots, explosions, super-powers, mosaic-censoring, double Shaundis, Keith David as Keith David and of course, Benjamin “Motherf**king” King.

Hopefully we’re see more gameplay footage at E3 2013. The fourth Saints Game is looking to be one of the biggest open-world action adventure games yet, and considering the threat that comes from titles like Grand Theft Auto V in that regard, which releases a month later, that’s saying something.

Saints Row IV is due to come out on August 20th in North America and August 23rd in Europe for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
