Samurai Shodown

Samurai Shodown, the latest series in the fight game franchise, is getting very close. We’ve gotten a lot of the base roster cast detailed, and the first DLC character. But we’re not done yet, and today we get a look at a man/dog combo with Galford and Poppy.

Galford is the All-American ninja that is one of the few non-Asian characters in the cast. He travels the world with his self-proclaimed title of Superhero of Justice. Along with him, and maybe the star for many, is his husky pet dog Poppy. While Galford does a bulk of the fighting, Poppy isn’t afraid to get down and dirty, even using Galford’s sword in key attacks. They make quite the team here, and are some classic characters that were introduced in the original 1993 game. Take a look at the trailer below.

Samurai Shodown will release June 25th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Q4 2019 on Switch and PC, and will launch in November for Stadia. To keep up with all news about the game, keep up with us here.
