Samurai Shodown

SNK continues is promotion for Samurai Shodown, the next entry and reboot in the fighting franchise. We’ve seen introduction videos for one of the newest characters, Darli Dagger, and last week the classic character Ukyo Tachibana got a trailer as well. Now another returning character gets an introduction trailer- Shiki, the female samurai with different colored eyes.

As you can see from the trailer below, Shiki is based around speed with swift movements. She was originally introduced in 1997’s Samurai Shodown 64. Her eyes being two separate colors is one of the striking features about her model, along with the blue snake tattoo on her back that’s controlled her through her life. She may be quiet, but as you can see, that doesn’t hold her back.

Samurai Shodown will release June 27th on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, in Q4 2019 for Switch, and a later date for PC. You can check also out the recently announced Neo Geo Collection, to catch up on the series in anticipation for the release and keep track of all the updates on the game.
