Saw II Flesh and Blood Hits Stores This Halloween

Konami definitely seems to be a believer of symbolism. Or maybe the release date it just announced for Saw II is just for effect. Make of it what you will, but Konami has announced that Saw II: Flesh and Blood, its super gory and needlessly violent game due for the Xbox 360 and the PS3, will now be hitting stores later this year, on the 31st of October, to be exact. We told you the release date was ominously symbolic.

John Williamson was on the stage to reveal that SAW 2 puts players in the shoes of Detective Trapp’s estranged son Michael, who is trying to understand the causes behind his father’s death. He went to explain that the game would have the player solving puzzles and using the environment while they fought off Jigsaw’s minions, but who are they kidding- we know it’s all just an excuse to get down to settling scores with nobody in particular- gorily.
