Scarlet Nexus

Following the debut of Bandai Namco’s Scarlet Nexus at the recent Inside Xbox, the publisher has confirmed that it will also be coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC as well. Retailing for $59.99, it will support English and Japanese voice-overs. Interestingly enough, online play is currently not present but plans are still “to be confirmed”.

Scarlet Nexus was one of the few stand-outs at the presentation due to its combination of high-octane action and imaginative foes. Developed by the minds behind Tales of Vesperia, it takes place in a futuristic society where humans have developed psychic powers. Unfortunately, strange mutants known as the Others have also arrived and can only be dealt with by Psionics.

As Yuito Sumeragi, freshly recruited to the Other Suppression Force, you’ll be utilizing the power of psycho-kinesis to repel the hordes. Other details like a release date are still to be confirmed so stay tuned for more details. And despite coming to PS4 and PS5, one nice feature for the Xbox One version is that it supports Smart Delivery, providing a free upgraded version for Xbox Series X.
