What happens when you combine the frantic gameplay of an action game like Devil May Cry with a heavy anime style? By the looks of it, Scarlet Nexus. The game was announced at Microsoft’s June showcase, and you can knock it for a lot of things, but lack of style isn’t one of them. Now we get a little more introduction to the game’s main character, Yuito Sumeragi.
In the footage released so far, we’ve seen Yuito tearing us the place, and now via the official Twitter we get to know him a bit. He’s from a prestigious family and joined the Other Suppression Force (OSF) after being saved from an attack from the mysterious Other. It seems his power focuses heavily on Psychokinesis, which he uses to subdue Others. It’s not clear if he’s the only playable character yet, but it does seem like he’ll be the central character.
Scarlet Nexus is slated to be released for current and next generation consoles as well as PC. You can also check out a showcase of the game’s animation and gameplay through here.

It is unknown if his psychokinesis power is connected to his strong desires to help others or if his powers come from his family's long history. [5/5]
