Can't knock it for lack of style.

Scarlet Nexus

While Microsoft’s previous gaming event had some mixed reception, it did show off a lot of games. One of those was Scarlet Nexus, a very flashy anime-inspired action RPG. It came out pretty fast and furious right out of the gate, and now we have more of that same style.

As part of the IGN Summer of Gaming, we got a brand new trailer that showed off both the game’s animation style and its gameplay, both of which are particularly bold. You have to be into that type of style, but bold none the less. A gameplay interview came shortly after where the game’s Director and Producer talked about the game and how they used next gen versions to create a smoother and sharper experience, such as seamless cutscenes into gameplay, and are continuing  to refine the gameplay. Check out both below.

Scarlet Nexus will release for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC. It will also feature Smart Delivery between the Xbox versions. No word yet on when a release is planned.
