Bandai Namco’s upcoming action RPG Scarlet Nexus is looking to infuse its anime aesthetic with what seems like pretty high-octane action, and if you plan on playing the game on next-gen consoles, you’re going to be able to enjoy that action with improved frame rates.

Speaking during a recent press keynote, the game’s director Kenji Anabuki detailed the frame rates and resolutions players can expect from the game on all platforms (via Twinfinite). On the PS5 and Xbox Series X, Scarlet Nexus is targeting 4K and 60 FPS. Meanwhile, on the PS4 and Xbox One, it will unsurprisingly run at a 1080p resolution and 30 frames per second.

4K and 60 FPS is something that most have been hoping will become the standard with next-gen games, especially given the capabilities of the hardware both the PS5 and Xbox Series X are boasting, so it’s good to know that Scarlet Nexus is aiming for that.

The game is currently in development for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC, but doesn’t yet have a release date. It recently received a trailer focusing on the powers and abilities players will have access to in the game- check it out through here.
