Scorn

Scorn has been a long, long time coming, but with the game now finally approaching its launch later this year, more details on it are starting to filter through. Recently, for instance, the game’s Steam page got updated, revealing updated minimum and recommended system requirements- and they’re quite demanding.

On minimum settings, you’ll need either a QuadCore AMD Ryzen 3 3300X or an Intel Core i5-8400, along with a 3 GB GeForce GTX 1060, and 8 GB of RAM. On recommended settings, meanwhile, you’ll need either an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 or an Intel Core i7-8700, along with an 8 GB GeForce GTX 2070, and 16 GB of RAM.

Notably, on either setting, you’re going to need an SSD in your rig, along with 50 GB of free storage space. To say the very least, it sounds like it’s going to be quite a demanding game.

Scorn, in development for Xbox Series X/S and PC, is due out this October. Whether we see more of the game at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase later today remains to be seen, but we’ve certainly got our fingers crossed.
