As part of its ongoing sixth season, Sea of Thieves has released a new cinematic trailer for its next adventure, Lost Sands. The new adventure focuses on rebuilding efforts of Golden Sands after it was devastated by the Reapers.
According to the trailer’s description, the adventure will involve players securing supplies needed to rebuild Golden Sands, or switch over to the Reapers’ side and make sure that Golden Sands doesn’t get rebuilt. The path of the story will be decided by the community between May 26 and June 9.
Sea of Thieves Season 6 kicked off with two adventures, Forts of the Forgotten, and Shrouded Islands. The season also has a new Voyage exclusive to Pirate Legends, Legend of the Veil, which involves players hunting for lost Veil Stones across new locations.
Another major feature of Sea of Thieves Season 6 is the addition of Sea Forts. These new forts can be found scattered across the sea, each one being guarded by a Sea Fort Captain. Clearing these forts rewards players with more plunder and loot.
Sea of Thieves is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It is also available through Game Pass on PC and Xbox.
