Sea of Thieves Season 14 Making Mischief

Rare has released a new trailer for Sea of Thieves next season, Making Mischief. Launching October 17th, it features a variety of new tools and mechanics, including a gun for quickly grappling across environments and deeper stealth mechanics. Check out the content update video below.

When you think of pirates, sneaking around is probably the last thing that comes to mind. Nevertheless, crouching generates less noise and hides the player’s nameplate, making it easier to give enemy crews the slip. You can also hang off the side of ships and use disguises like barrels and treasure chests to sneak, Metal Gear Solid-style.

Even the PvE-focused will find it helpful since enemies will notice them less easily. As for new weapons, there’s a Blow Dart Gun for putting enemies to sleep, poisoning, and even generating fake sounds to distract enemies.

Stay tuned for more details when Sea of Thieves: Season 14 goes live next week. The sea-faring action adventure is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5.
