Sea of Thieves Will Get “Big Changes” With Upcoming Update, More Info Will Be Shared at X0

Some big changes could be coming to the shared world pirate adventure game.

The next update for Sea of Thieves will come out in November, and it is called Shrouded Spells. It is not the one we want to talk about here, however. No, instead, it’s the one that comes after that. That’s the one that Rare slyly teased today (which you can see for yourself in the video below). That update, they promised, will have some “big changes” for Sea of Thieves when it hits.

We won’t need to wait long to find out what the update is or what it may entail, either. Apparently, Rare will be there at X018, and they will announce the update, and details on it, then. So basically, we have less than a month to go before we find out what the future face and direction of Sea of Thieves may be like. Fans of the game will undoubtedly be thrilled.

One thing we can be sure of—no matter how major it is, it will be free, because Rare has promised it will never charge for new content. Sea of Thieves is out now on Windows 10 PCs and Xbox One.
