Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 Patch Adds New Save Warning, UI Tweaks, and More

Developer Ninja Theory has released a small update for its recently released cinematic action-adventure experience.

It’s been a couple of weeks since the release of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, and though we haven’t heard much from Microsoft on how the action-adventure title has fared in terms of player numbers, developer Ninja Theory, it seems, is continuing to plug away behind the scenes on polishing up the experience. The studio has, in fact, released a patch to that end.

The update is a pretty minor one, but does bring a handful of tweaks in a couple of areas. For starter, the game will now give you a warning upon starting a new save that you’re about to overwrite your previous one, which was bafflingly not present in the game originally. Additionally, the patch also fixes an issue with the large text size option that would break some UI elements in the chapter select screen.

Beyond that, the patch brings fixes for crashes, cases of memory leaks, visual and technical bugs, and the like. You can check out the full patch notes below.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is available on Xbox Series X/S and PC. Read our review of the game through here.
