What’s better than Serious Sam the first person shooter? Serious Sam in virtual reality. During the PC Gaming Show yesterday, Croteam unveiled Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope, a VR version of the insanely fast-paced shooter meant for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope will be out this Summer in Steam Early Access and focuses on the first Mental War. You’ll once again be in the shoes of Sam “Serious” Stone who fights to save the galaxy. Space travel is a given in this iteration and you’ll even meet new aliens along the way. How many will you blow away with Sam’s excessive weaponry? Probably a lot.
Sam will also be boasting a skill tree this time around and it’s possible to upgrade your gear as well. Check out the gameplay trailer to see exactly how you’ll be embodying the man himself and stay tuned for more information on the game.
