Shadow Complex 2 is Coming, We Just Don’t Know When

Posted By | On 13th, Mar. 2011

There has been some talk of Shadow Complex 2 but now we have pretty much a confirmation that it will happen. Creative director, Donald Mustard has for the most part confirmed the Xbox Live Arcade sequel developed by Chair. In talks with Eurogamer, Donald stated “I’ll put it this way. More Shadow Complex isn’t a question of if, it’s a question of when. Shadow Complex is our baby and we love it dearly and, y’know, we’re working on some cool stuff.. That’s all I can say.” Donald went on to say that he is not a fan of porting games to iPhones or any iOS’s then mentioning that he “still cannot think of a way that we’d be able to bring over the precision controls [to touchscreen devices] that Shadow Complex needs to be amazing..” saying that “Shadow Complex is designed for a controller. I’m not a fan of trying to shoehorn console controls onto touch screens. They don’t feel right. You just lose so much precision.” This is something that I can respect and definitely agree with to a degree. But there you have it, Shadow Complex 2 is coming, keep it here to find out when.
