Shadow of the tomb raider leaked

Shadow of the Tomb Raider was announced more than a month ago and fans have been waiting for more information about the game ever since. Now, the official trailer for the game is finally out and we’ve also received some new screenshots of the game. This time around, we’ll see Lara Croft in South America as she attempts to stop the Mayan apocalypse.

The trailer is gritty and action-packed and we see Lara traverse the lush jungles effortlessly as she stealthily stalks enemies before taking them out. The game looks gorgeous in the trailer and the visuals are very much reminiscent of what we had already seen in the previous game in the series (although the trailer is not running in real time and is obviously CG). Hopefully, we’ll get to see some actual gameplay video soon enough.

“Thanks to their incredible expertise, knowledge of the franchise and outstanding creativity, Eidos-Montréal, in collaboration with Crystal Dynamics, is delivering a powerful experience with Shadow of the Tomb Raider,” said Yosuke Matsuda, president and representative director of Square Enix Holding.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider will challenge Lara Croft in new and unexpected ways,” said David Anfossi, Head of Studio at Eidos-Montréal. “Our team has created a diverse set of skills, combat techniques and equipment for players to master, and they’ll certainly need them if they hope to survive the deadly jungle environments and tombs.”

You can check out all of the screenshots and the trailer below. Shadow of the Tomb Raider is set to release for the Xbox One, PC, and PS4 on September 14.
