Square Enix has released the newest trailer of Shadow of the Tomb Raider, the upcoming game by Eidos Montreal that will also act as the final game in the rebooted Tomb Raider trilogy that began with 2013’s Tomb Raider, and continued through with Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Previous trailers have shown us the game’s central hub city as well as the combat options at her disposal. This new trailer shows off her resourcefulness, which of course is necessary for her to survive out in the wild, and in the forgotten tombs that she frequently raids. As you may remember, survival will be one of the three “skill trees” that this game offers, so this trailer is basically showing off some of how that might work.
You can see it for yourself- it seems like you will be able to leverage your environment to craft and brew a lot of things to survive in the wilderness, if you are smart enough. Shadow of the Tomb Raider launches on September 14 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
