Shape the Plot of Gears 3 the Way You Want to, Epic Calling on LIVE Users to Help them Develop the Story

Posted By | On 21st, Jul. 2010

Epic Games, developer of Gears of War 3, is asking all Xbox Live users to help them shape the story of their upcoming megaton, Gears of War 3. They want all Xbox Live users to decide whether the latest member of the Carmine family will live or die.

Fans can decide if Clayton will meet a fate similar to that of his two brothers, who met bloody deaths in Gears 1 and Gears 3, by purchasing Avatar items online (You think you’re good business men MS? EH?!).

Two new  Avatar T-shirts, one of them reading “Save Carmine”, while the other will read “Carmine must die”, will be availible online starting July 29. You know buying each T-shirt will end up with what outcome. Buy “Save Carmine” to let Clayton live, and buy “Carmine must die” to see his head get ripped off  via a chansaw.

Epic says all the money they gain via the new Avatar T-Shirts will be donated to Child’s Play Charity. Good people, these. Probably have a halo atop their heads, something which us frivulous mortals are unable to see… sigh…
