The Shenmue game were infamous flops that came at a time when Sega was on the verge of leaving the console business. They’ve always been legendary in a cult classic sort of way, and we finally got a sequel after a crowdfunding project and a partnership with publisher Deep Silver. Unfortunately, it seems Shenmue 3 is following in its predecessor’s footsteps as it underperformed to the point where Deep Silver had to revise their financial outcast. Regardless, though, the game has post-launch support coming with the next batch getting a release date today.

The Story Quest DLC will see the return of  Zhang Shugin next week per publisher Deep Silver, with Ryo being sucked into a new escapade where things aren’t what they appear. Nothing else has been detailed just yet about what all it will include, but presumably new quests and side activities will be part of the pack.

Shenmue 3 is available now for PlayStation 4 and PC. Story Quest will be available on February 18th, and the first DLC, Battle Rally, is available now.
