Frogwares’ Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One will be releasing this Fall for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. However, due to the additional time needed for the Xbox One and PS4 versions, those have been pushed back to a later date (but not “that later”). The developer revealed on Twitter that this would amount to a few weeks worth of delay at most.
It will also reveal exact dates “soon” and assured fans that the previous gen versions are still being developed. The good news is that “something new” will be revealed tomorrow and Frogwares will also answer some of the most asked questions. Perhaps we’ll receive some new gameplay footage and a release date for the current gen versions.
Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One is a prequel of sorts, following the famous detective in his younger years as he investigates his childhood home in Cordona, an island in the Mediterranean. It quickly becomes apparent that something strange is going on in the town and it’s Holmes’ job to uncover the truth. For more details, check out the official gameplay reveal here.
